Top 5 Books I Want to Read Soon

I love reading. I love it so much that a Kindle or Nook (or any other e-book device) would be a smart investment. But I love having a library...a real library! (Psst! Santa, I could use more shelf space for my book!)
Since reading Twilight, and finishing Twilight, I really don't know what I want to read...or even what I like to read because I said I'd never read the Twilight books. Well, I did. And I loved them.

But recently, I came across some books I do actually want to read and along the way, I found some that I wanted to always go back and get but forgot about, obviously.

Here's the Top 5 books I want to read as soon as possible (10 seemed overwhelming):

1. Cherries in Winter by Suzan Colon

I came across this book a weekend or so ago while waiting to meet my parents for lunch.
Funny how books find you when you need them the most.
It killed me to put in down. And walk out of the store WITHOUT it.

2. A Homemade Life by Molly Wizenberg

A long, long time ago, well, maybe a year, I found this book and found it quite interesting. But at the time, I already had a few other books in my hands so, I told myself I'd come back for it.
Never did that but I found it while looking through Amazon for Cherries in Winter (used!).

3. The Recipe Club by Andrea Isreal

Last year, I read The Christmas Cookie Club by Ann Pearlman and when I came across this book online, it reminded me of the Christmas Cookie Club book that I loved.

4. Kardashian Konfidential by Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian

This is what I (used to) love...autobiographies, biographies, memoirs.
And this book fits right into my collection.

5. The Showgirl Next Door by Holly Madison
This is one book I haven't stumbled upon. I've been waiting, and waiting, for this one to be released. Finally, a release date so, the countdown is on!
Book 5 should give me my celebrity-book-fix till February 2011, when Holly Madison's book is to be released.

  1. I had the same problem when i finished reading the Twilight series. I wanted more! I went threw a couple that didn't satisfy that need. But them i can across a series that i kinda like. The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind,(is the 1st book)they had a TV series on ABC called Legend of the Seeker. But the books are pretty good (Not as good as Twilight)But it's about wizards, mystical creatures and a boy and girl who fight different kinds of evil to save their world and be together. I like them and am on book #5.=)

  2. Hmm...I'll have to check those out. At least there is more to the series than 4 books! GRR! Makes me so mad everytime I think about it. I'm hoping Stephanie will get back into the vampire mood and finish Midnight Sun!!! I want to read it so bad but refuse to read the leaked version!
