11:11

For years and years...and years, I wished on 11:11.
Well, about 1 1/2 or 2, I stopped.

For all those years, I wished the SAME thing.
Never anything different.
And it never came true.

So, I stopped.

But last year, the wish I wished so many times did come true...finally.
That wish was "I wish Mark and I will get married this year".
(5 years of that with no flicker of an engagement in sight takes it's toll)
I guess the 11:11 administrator doesn't allow time requests...but will see that the wish does come true.
Because after almost 7 years of dating my best friend, I married him.

Anyways, when I was getting ready this morning, I happened to check my phone and it was 11:11.
I battled with my urge to wish.
And I did.

I decided that this year, I would start wishing on 11:11 again.
(And it is on my 101 in 1001 to wish on Nov. 11, 2011 at 11:11 so, I'd have to do it anyways!)

I wished 2 wishes within that minute.
And I'm not sure if that's allowed.
And I stayed true to my "time request".
Both of my wishes are requests that something will happen in 2011.

  4. MEN! Geez!

But it was well worth the wait. I can't imagine spending my time with anyone more amazing (or more annoying...one of the cutest qualities about Mark Dean!)
