Planned Projects

So I've been inspired lately to start too many projects at once for Little Miss Roz.
Many projects that, unfortunately, do not benefit her right now.
But I just cannot contain my excitement as a parent.

As I watch Rozlyn grow and learn something new each day, I feel like I need to prepare for the future.
And that's exactly what my recent projects are all about.

Here is the felt board I started a few weeks ago.
This bright idea was a Pinterest-inspired project from Natalie at The Busy Budgeting Mama.
It has been one of the first bigger projects I've taken on recently and I'm completely in love with it.
I get all giddy when I get to spend a few of nights a week cutting out new shapes to add to her felt box collection.
So by the time Rozlyn's old enough to play, I'll have nearly every shape imaginable ready for her.

And since she won't be able to use it for quite some time, I plan to use to play out stories for her.
One particular story I'm really excited to act out is the story of Christmas.
Each year as Christmas approaches I'll retell the story of Little Baby Jesus so she can know and remember the true meaning of Christmas.
And hopefully, it'll create a special memory for her to cherish forever.

Another project I started this past weekend was a scripture book.
I found the idea on Pinterest...obviously.
Carissa over at lowercase letters inspired me with her Scripture Scraps.
Since I will find ANY reason to make a photo book, I decided to put my own spin on it by using Shutterfly to make Rozlyn's scripture book.

You'll love Shutterflys award-winning photo books. Try it today.

I hope you feel inspired to do something for your little ones...whether they will be able to use it now or not.
It will benefit them at some point in their lives and that makes planning ahead so worth it.
